PVFG Hosts 7th Annual Slide into Summer Safety Event

LUDLOW – PV Financial Group recently hosted their 7th annual “Slide Into Summer Safety” on the last day of Ludlow Public Schools. The event hosted over 500 children for inflatable water slide fun and afforded each one the opportunity to engage with first responders in an interactive environment before diving head first into their summer break.

Children were encouraged to interact with local first responders in exchange for a raffle ticket to win prizes. With the help of the Ludlow Fire and Police Departments, along with Ludlow C.A.R.E.S. Coalition and The Ludlow Rotary the event meaningfully fostered conversation between the youth and public safety officials.

“We host Slide into Summer Safety every year believing that if we make a difference in one child’s life, it’s worth it. Creating opportunities for our kids to engage with and respect our local officials is important to developing our future leaders,” says PV Financial Group’s Managing Partner Edward Sokolowski.

The event was made possible with the help from the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys & Girls Club, delicious ice cream from Elsie’s Creamery at Randall’s Farm, DJ David Costa and volunteers from Ludlow High School.  “Building strong character is a community-wide effort,” says PV Financial Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Haber. “We’re thankful for all the ways our community partners and public safety officials step up to create opportunities for our kids to learn and grow, during Slide into Summer Safety and throughout the year.”

In addition to hosting this event for the community, PV Financial also donated an additional $5,000 to the Club for their 2022 season.  “Supporting the local Boys and Girls Club is so important to our community.  We know our donation will have a meaningful impact and our hope is that other local businesses and leaders will join us and support the Club as well,” added Sokolowski.
