Celebrating Teach Children to Save Day with the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys and Girls Club

In honor of Teach Children to Save Day on April 25th, we had the pleasure of spending the morning with the preschoolers at the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys and Girls Club to introduce them to the basics of money and saving.

Our advisor, Peter Leonczyk, read My First Piggy Bank to each classroom and led an engaging conversation about the value of saving. The children enthusiastically shared their ideas—many said they would save up for ice cream or new toys.

Following the story, the students participated in a fun, hands-on activity to help them recognize and sort coins. To wrap up the visit, each child received a special surprise: their very own piggy bank to start their personal savings journey.
