Slide Into Summer Safety Event

Ludlow/ Wilbraham, MA- Our Slide Into Summer Safety event made a record breaking splash this year, hosting over 600 kids at the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys & Girls Club and Spec Pond in Wilbraham! We can’t thank our community sponsors and first responders enough for their time, support, and summer safety tips! PV Financial hosts this event annually to promote engagement between children and local first responders at the start of the summer.

PV Financial Managing Partner, Edward Sokolowski says that “while summer break is very exciting, it brings a number of dangers for children, including fireworks, sun and tick exposure, and bike-related injuries. It is important for children to learn how to prevent these issues, and to be familiar with local first responders in case of an emergency.”

Children enjoyed water slides, splash pad, a dance floor, ice cream and more! Kids are encouraged to interact with firefighters, police officers, EMTs and members of the DPW.
