PV Supports Belchertown’s Hidden Gem

Belchertown, MA – We know it’s a problem; children and adults in our community and across the country are spending more time tethered to screens, and dependent on technology. Team Jessica Inc. & Jessica’s Boundless Playground desire to inspire people to get outside more, rethink play and take advantage of the crucial environmental resources in our community. The Lake Wallace Sensory Trail will do just that.

Ready and waiting to be built, the designed trail is strategically located across from Jessica’s Boundless Playground, Mini Fenway, our schools, and senior center. With the support of local families and businesses alike, the trail will give access to individuals of all ages and abilities from our community and across Western Mass.

PV Financial Group is honored and excited to help. Having been highly involved in the preservation of Foley Field/Lake Wallace many years ago, Managing Partner Ed Sokolowski tirelessly fought, lobbied, disrupted, and influenced community leaders to preserve the 66 acres during his service as Chairman.

“The land is now a place where children and their families enjoy sporting events, nature walks, and environmental exploration,” says Ed. “By working together, we can maintain and continue to develop the access to this beautiful natural resource, a hidden gem in Belchertown.”

Team Jessica Inc., in partnership with local officials, is seeking more friends, families, and business associates to help harness the full potential of the land surrounding Lake Wallace. The Lake Wallace Sensory Trail Project Committee will be hosting an open meeting in 2019 where they will invite all community members and businesses to attend and take a virtual tour through the learning landscape.

To make your end-of-year donation to the project, checks may be made out to the Town of Belchertown with a memo of “Lake Wallace Sensory Trail” and mailed to:
