PV Financial Group Awards “PlanWithAPurpose” Tri-Town Scholarship Recipients

LUDLOW – PV Financial Group has named the recipients of the “PlanWithAPurpose” tri-town $1000 scholarship fund to three graduating seniors in Ludlow, Belchertown, and Wilbraham. Emilee Boivin, Moira O’Sullivan, and Kayla Adams proved to be exemplary candidates, representing Belchertown High School, Ludlow High School, and Minnechaug High School respectively.

Boivin was enrolled at Holyoke Community College while still in high school, the only one in her graduating class to do so. She leveraged her academic career to make a difference in her community by taking part in countless volunteer and extra-circular activities, including starting a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds and donate clothing to children at Shriner’s in Springfield.

O’Sullivan is a member of the Baystate Springfield Educational Partnership, allowing her to learn about varying medical professions before settling on speech-language pathology. She plans on attending Worcester State University to study Communication Sciences and Disorders. O’Sullivan worked as an assistant teacher while still studying at Ludlow High School, and has a proven track record of volunteer and leadership initiatives.

Adams served as a member of the student council, the National Honor Society, and as the captain of Minnechaug’s field hockey team. She will be attending Clemson University in the fall, where she plans to study health science in pursuit of a career as a pediatrician.

Edward Sokolowski, Joseph Leonczyk and Charles Myers first opened their Financial Planning business in 2002. Since then they’ve committed to giving back to the community, targeting their volunteer hours and charitable contributions towards organizations that support the development of youth and future leaders.  

Each ‘Plan With a Purpose’ Scholarship is meant to honor a local graduating High School Senior who is meaningfully planning a purposeful future, leveraging their academic career to make a difference in their community.
