MHA You Matter! Award Sponsored by PV

Springfield, Mass. – PV Financial Group was delighted to support MHA in launching their new “You Matter!” recognition program to shine a bright spotlight on employees and community members committed to making a difference.

MHA Peer Support Specialist, Mario Cintron, was the first recipient. Mario was nominated by MHA’s Vice President of Acquired Brain Injury Programming, Sara Kyser, who cited Mario’s commitment to supporting individuals living with mental health conditions.

Mario is recognized for being an asset to MHA’s Resource Center where he facilitates groups and promotes the independence of all guests. He is known to go above and beyond to establish thoughtful programming, including the very well attended Health Fair. Mario is said to be graceful under pressure and faces difficult situations with ease. His compassion, professionalism, and dedication to safety make MHA a better place.

In a “Publisher’s Clearing House” style surprise, PV Financial Group Financial Advisor, Peter Leonczyk, joined MHA’s Senior Management team to surprise Mario with the honor. Mario was presented with a compass, paying homage to the PV logo, to represent the meaningful ways he is directing and impacting significant change in our community.

The employees who serve them, they matter too,” shared Peter Leonczyk. “Mario, you matter, and your dedication and hard work does not go without acknowledgement. Today we thank you for making a difference each and every day!”

MHA is a nonprofit provider of residential and support services based in Springfield, MA, providing services throughout the Greater Springfield area to people impacted by mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse and homelessness.
