Ludlow – PV Financial Group will be hosting their fourth annual Summer Safety event on Wednesday, June 20th from 1-2:30pm at the Ludlow Community Center/ Randall Boys & Girls Club. Children ages 5-11 are invited to celebrate the end of the school year with slippery fun, safety tips, ice cream, raffle prizes and more.
The event serves to promote positive engagement between children and local safety officials before the start of summer vacation. Students will be encouraged to high five and chat with Ludlow Firefighters and Police Officers to receive raffle tickets and win prizes.
“We host Slide into Summer Safety every year believing that if we make a difference in one child’s life, this event is worth it. Creating opportunities for our kids to engage with and respect our local officials is important to developing our future leaders,” says PV Financial Group’s Managing Partner Ed Sokolowski.
The field will be filled with several inflatable water slides, kept slippery courtesy of the Ludlow Fire Department. Children are invited to attend with adult supervision, bathing suits and towels. A suggested $5/per family donation is requested to benefit the Ludlow Community Center/Randall Boys & Girls Club.
Ice cream will be generously provided by Elsie’s Creamery at Randall’s Farm and Greenhouse. Ludlow CARES Coalition will provide raffle prizes, information and volunteer support.
“Building strong character is a community-wide effort,” says PV Financial Group’s Senior Partner Joe Leonczyk. “We’re thankful for all the ways our community partners and public safety officials step up to create opportunities for our kids to learn and grow, during Slide into Summer Safety and throughout the year.”
